Rental Policy for CIAA Headquarters Building

Facility Utilization:

Available facilities may be used free of charge by those nonprofit organizations and government bodies which are involved with the enhancement, protection, regulation,  or utilization of Cook Inlet natural resources provided that such use doesn't interfere with CIAA's use of the building. Use by individuals and profit organizations not providing a direct service to Cook Inlet fishers is prohibited.

CIAA staff may use the available facilities for any nonprofit activities they are actively participating in.

Reservations:

Reservations shall be accepted on a "First come - first served" basis and must be approved by CIAA.

Facilities Available:

Assembly Area - a 1950 square foot meeting room occupying most of the basement portion of the building. Capacity, according to Fire Code, is 130 people. Equipment will include a projection screen, a lectern, folding tables and chairs.

Conference Room - a 300 square foot room occupying the SouthWest(SW) corner of the upper floor of the building. Equipped with a conference table and chairs this room could house groups as large as 10-12 people.

The remainder of the building includes office, shop/garage, warehouse and laboratory facilities which are only available for use by CIAA.

Clean - Up : This is Required because the CIAA Conference Room is provided for you and your organization without any charge. If clean-up isn't followed through the use of the CIAA Conference Room is no longer available to the group/organization in the future. In exchange, please observe the following courtesies:

1. Straighten the tables and chairs and return them to their orginal positions.

2. Pick up your garbage and dispose of it in the trash or recycle bins.

3. Wash coffee pot and any non-disposal item you have used.

4. Clean the sink and counter tops.

5. Vacuum the room (The vacuum is in the closet next to the entrance).

6. Make certain all window are locked.
